Over the past few months, we have been working on how to transition iFuse's services from Poundhost to our own network. We are now in a position to begin this work.

By default, we will migrate your services to Telehouse in London; where we maintain a fully diverse and redundant network; if you want us to migrate your services to another city then please respond back to this email with your service IP or name and the city you want to be migrated to. We need to know this by 15th January, or we will assume London.

This week, assuming the weather eases up, we will begin the process of simulated migration, there will be no disruption to your service.

As the majority of you will migrate to Telehouse London, I'll outline our configuration there - we have 9 upstream tier-1 providers along with our private peerings; we currently host around 10,000 VPS in this suite; and 30,000 shared hosting accounts. We have been a tenant of Telehouse since 1995 so we are well established in this facility and have more than ample room to grow as you need.

Telehouse has had minimal power issues over the past 10 years; since our acquisition of iFuse we have seen many power and routing issues at Poundhost whilst they did get resolved relatively quickly, they were avoidable by being in a property like Telehouse.

Unless you want to move to a different facility than Telehouse, you don't need to do anything. We will notify you next Monday of the maintenance windows and once the transition starts we will be in contact to notify you of any IP address changes. We will take care of changing IP's on VPS's and relicensing cPanel/DirectAdmin/Plesk services.
