Weiran and I went to the GAME shop at Maidstone yesterday, to get his Nintendo DS Lite fixed as the microphone had died on it. He managed to collar one of the guys that worked there, and the conversation went something like this:
Weiran: Hi, I bought this DS Lite a few months ago and the microphone seems to have died on it… Is there anything you can do about it?
GAME Employee: Erm, let’s have a quick look
G: Okay, I think you’d have to send it back to Sony
W: Sony?
G: Yeah
W: Sony make the Nintendo DS?!
G: Yeah, I’m pretty sure they do…
I had to wander off to look at the PC games because I was laughing so much. Worked out okay in the end, we found someone that actually knew what they were talking about and gave him a brand new DS Lite! And I bought Command and Conquer: The First Decade for £20, it was their Deal of the Week! Not too shabby!
